Does anyone know what the GVWR might be for a 88 yota pickup short bed,single cab, 4x4, 22RE. The truck I have was once stolen so all the placards that should be there aren't. Trying to determine were I am at in accordance with the state bumper height laws.:wrench:

CHeck your local laws... around my parts the bottm of the bumper has to be under 32" from the ground.

I have checked, and here in washington state its determined by the vehicles gvwr. I'm not sure if I'm over the 4500lb rating.:drink:

Nope. You are under or close to 4,000lbs.

I just looked at the door jamb placard on my 93 short bed reg cab 22re, and was surprised to see, GVWR 5350#, so I would guess you are not far from that.
