Water Pump?

My water pump blew in my 91 toyota pickup...:( it has 200,000 miles on it,So i need to replace it, and im going to replace the timing belt while its apart... can anyone give me a rough estimate of how much labor for it is... I found the parts, but have to have someone else do it... Im in school so i dont have time to do it myself or i would... I just dont have time to take the front of my motor apart.

I just saw this thread over on TTORA about the same question but for the 3.4 V6. Your 3.0 timing belt/water pump should be very similar so it will give you an idea anyway on labor:

Figure 8 hours or so for two guys to take things apart, clean everything up right, then re-install... depending on how many bolts break in the process of removing them.

8 hours?? I think book time is only like 4-5 hours. I would say somethings not right if it takes 2 guys 8 hours to do that job. Normally takes me about 1.5-2 hours TOPS

Do you guys know of any write ups for the 3.0 timing belt? I can only find the 3.4 write up. Also, is there a easy way to inspect the belt and or timing with out taking a lot of stuff apart? (AKA in my apartments parking lot)

Thanks
