Warn Rear Bumper 89-85 ... will it fit on an 86?

Has anyone with a 2nd gen pickup (84-86) tried putting on the Warn rear bumper designed for the 3rd gen pickup (89-95)?

Link: https://www.warn.com/truck/mounting-...r_toyota.shtml

I emailed Warn about it and they said they cannot be sure. Sent me the installation guide as a reference but I can't tell. Attached if you wanna check it out.

Is there any difference in spacing of frame mount points for the bumper brackets? These trucks are so very similar I would imagine the fitment can't be that different...

Thank!

should bolt right in. I just measured an 86 and an 89, both frame and very close. I would guess the difference is just the jig each frame happened to be setup on.

Hey dark_fairytales btw I bought my truck in Sacramento. Guy I bought it from took great care of her and now I really love keeping that up.

Moved her over to NC - coast to coast

Actually had second thoughts. Still looking around...

I really want an integrated receiver and Warn can't offer that. May go custom, may start from something built.

Regardless the Warn one isn't cheap, so I'm still looking.

There are plenty of options out there for sure. If the Warn price does not offend you and you have the ability to do so, you may want to consider making your own just they way you want it.
