Well his last post in this thread was February 9th, 2011. I'd imagine it's fixed now....
I bet it was all that goofy corrugated intake hose spliced together. I'd imagine the isr mod would make short work of it.
edited to say: sorry it was from the 10th of february in 2011 lol

Was thinking about the swap myself....

Ha! I wish... a diesel for it is more likely. 15 mpg's suck.
SA for the 4runner is sitting in my garage awaiting $$$ for a SAS kit though!
just don't have time/$$ right now but down the road. Still drive her but she feels naked the way she sits now. Need to beef her up..
I'm still on the fence about the blower for the sequoia 5.7, I don't think it will be anytime soon. But I'm hoping! it would be stupid fast.

to fix the lean issues u can open up the top of the afm and turn the clock one tooth counter clock wise to ricjen it up some but dont forget to make it befor u move it. also with the stock air box i hope u get rid of the part that sucks the hot air from the head light plus theres no air there so u should go cone asap

should plug and play the fe camry motor is the same as the 3vze with fe heads or 5vz heads. same displacement. i would think the way toyota is that it should be interchangeable. you should grab those heads off the camry and swap them on your veezee with fe pistons and 3.4 intake it would be sweet, nice mod though
can the head and intake manifold swap stated hear be done? or is this guy just messing around?

heard alot of talk about this. wanan say one guy did get all the parts to try and do it but i dont think anyone has actually done it. seem like it just be easier to swap the complete camry engine in and run the 3.4 intake if possible
