V6 T-case Xmembers

So I'm on the hunt for a x-member for my truck, I really like the style Front Range Off-Road has, that bolts to the back of the t-case, but they don't make anything for the V6 only the gear driven cases. Anyone know of a company that does that style but for a V6 case? or is it just better to get a budbuilt style?

I like my Budbuilt.

With the FROR xmember, you still need a skid under there IMHO, so why not just incorporate it into the crossmember (aka budbuilt design)?

Probably - they're kinda known for stealing people's designs and having them produced off shore for cheaper...

Your best bet could be to mod an already made one or just make your own. You can make a sick one from sratch

Does anyone know if the dual case x-member from trail-gear will work with only 1 case?

My guess is no... probably won't line up at some point, either at the frame or T-Case mount locations,

But I do not know what TG is considering for dual cases behind a V6? I assume they are putting dual 4cyl cases behind it with an adapter to the R150 tranny. So in actuality, their crossmembers would be set up for 4CYL cases... not a V6 case.

TG or Waskilly would know.

Out of curiosity... why do you want a dual case crossmember for just one case in the first place?

Well I plan to setup duals next winter, but I am in need of a new x-member now, so figured I'd kill 2 birds with 1 stone.

I thought you could use the factory crossmember with duals ... or a single case crossmember, but it wasn't as strong/secure.

Why do you need a crossmember so bad Kiff?

i smashed mine pretty good wheelin, now it's got a crack in the bottom and I lost 1 side of the rubber mount. So I need to get a new t-case mount anyways, going by my motto, if it breaks make it stronger

Yeah, that's a problem... you should call Bud at Budbuilt and discuss using a dual case crossmember with only one case with him...
