v6 diff question

Can I put a v6 third member in to a 4 cylinder housing...8" ofcourse.?

Yes, of course you can. Direct fit. The only bad thing is, it will be harder to find a locker for the v6 vice the 4cyl.

Totally interchangeable.

BS on the locker selection unless you're dead set on an Aussie. TONS of locker choices for the V6 diff.

You win one of these.

And you get the added benefit of having less unsprung weight on your rear axle than with the V6 3rd member. That's a good thing!:D
