Unplugging the TPS in my 92 22re

Ok, I seem to think I am having some TPS issues.

What would happen if I just unplug the thing? I know that it calibrates fuel to what ever specific throttle location you are at but if I unplug it what should happen other than the idle going up a lil bit?

Try it. I think that it will run badly if at all.

They are pretty easy to test with an ohmmeter and can be easy to find at pull-a-part -- some older Camrys used the same part I think.

It will run on open loop mode w/o the TPS. Basically ignores throttle position and goes by air flow meter readings only. Will also throw a TPS code or two.

Ok, I just wandered if it would eliminate the lack of power I seem to have going up slight inclines.
