Thank You for your reply, I'm just beginning my search for the problem.searching thru forums on several sites, it sounds like the TPS or throttle position sensor. I will check that today and report back

Have you had a checking light come on recently?
Maybe a trouble code is stored.
Possible vacuum line came off.
Check the coolant level.
Start with simple things first.
If your handy with a multi-meter that a big plus.

I started with the simple things first as was suggested by 1 reply. just put new plugs wires cap and rotor and shizam runs great !
