Transfer case shift knob thread
I have a '93 pickup, I am looking at buying a really cool shift knob that I want to use for the transfer case, the threads on it are 3/8"-24.
Does anyone know what the threads on the transfer case shifter are? Also, I am sure I can safely assume that they are metric, does anyone know of an adapter on the market for something like this, I thought I saw years ago that Hurst made thread adapters, I can't find any info though. Any help???? |
there prolly are adapters or you could just fill it with jb weld and tap it? or if you never want to take it off again, epoxy it on?

The threads on your shifter are M12-1.25 which is roughly equivalent to 1/2-20 (fine thread). Anything with 3/8 threads will have to be drilled & tapped to fit.

i got a cyclic stick handle off a helicopter at work. One of the switches dosent work but i got all the wiring on it still im just trying to think of what i could hook them up to cause they are all momentary switches but i think a transfer case shifter made out of that would be cool
