Timing chain kit???

IS this junk? The price is way cheaper than anywhere else. I was shoping for a timing chain kit and I came across this. Anybody know of some websites that have quality parts for a good price, I would apprecirate it.

Oh here's the link

That looks like a good deal. I'd ask the seller the brand on the components, though. Get the name and run a google on reviews or any other info you can dig up.

looks like a good deal but don't run the plastic drivers side guide. I'd look into engnbldrs guide at least. I was happy with that in my kit although I'm not a big fan of the Rock products he sells. which is probably what this kit is too. http://www.engnbldr.com/ whole kit including cover if ur old chain started to wear through it. or whole kit w/ oil pump if the gears started to wear the housing for $88 incuding the steel guide. Well worth the extra $... check what u need before you order. especially check where the oil pump spins on the timing chain cover because it will groove it out and cause you to have lower oil pressure. the oil pump housing does the same thing also and is a little harder to notice.

o.s.k. makes the best timing set for the money imo.

O.s.k

Well I bought all of my parts from the dealer. $400+. When I got them home and out off the Toyota packaging i couldn't believe what i found. Sure enough stamped into each link of the chain were the letter OSK. I would definitely buy OSK if I could do it all over.

yea there good. thats what www.22re.com sells/gives you with there rebuild kits.

60 compared to 400 for the same product, what a mark up. I'm surprised they don't charge 50 for a oil filter:hillbill:

Thanks, I'll check in to that.

The ebay kit has the steel guide.

There are a number of good brands out there on the market. OSK isn't the only one. And, for the price of that kit, it wouldn't hurt to check on it.
