I'm going to guess you're talking about the elastomeric (rubber) seal that keeps crud and grease from entering the timing case around the tensioner rod. I've never heard of any place to just get the elastomeric part, or any way to install it. Maybe because the whole thing only costs $32 at RockAuto. For $32, I know what I'd do. But you might need the practice replacing your timing components (and water pump) again, so it's your choice.

Now that I think about it, I'm going to guess you aren't replacing any of the timing cover gaskets ($23 at RockAuto) either, so maybe the extra crud you'll get around the tensioner won't make that much difference in the end..

The only gasket that has to do with the cover is a rubber piece that runs along the top of the fan pulley bracket. New one came with the bracket. Everything's clean inside.

The timing cover gasket is, well, around the timing cover. http://web.archive.org/web/201003261...67timingbe.pdf The piece around the top of the fan pulley bracket is just one of four pieces.

Of course, your other three pieces might be in great shape, remained stuck to the cover, and you just didn't notice them when you reinstalled the cover. I wasn't there.
