So I've got an '88 4Runner, IFS, all stock, yada yada.
Anywho, when I bought the truck the front rotors were warped, so I had them resurfaced when I bought the truck.
Didnt take too long before they warped again. I figured it was because they were so thin, so I went and bought a new set of rotors. I've had them on for about a month and the rotors are warped again.
Between resurfacing the first pair and buying the second pair, I put in a new MC also.
What can I do to stop my brakes from warping? I dont drive like a maniac. I've got one long offramp on the way home from work, but I never ride the brakes, always work the gears, never put all the stopping power on the brakes alone...
Could it be a sticky caliper possibly?
Should I try new calipers and another set of rotors? What kind of calipers should I get? Anything I should stay away from?

bleed and adjust the rear brakes, and bleed the lspv too.
if you've got a lift, make sure the lspv lever can compensate for the lift.

Done all of the above already.
Father is an ex-Toy mechanic of 17 years, esp. during the era of these trucks.
Everything has been taken care of, and were down to bad calipers basically.
I'm wondering if there is anything I can do to upgrade, what about the FJ60 rotor/V6 Caliper maybe? I havent heard much about that one
Or do you think new calipers would work good?
It stopped fine before they warped. I can lock em all up, I just dont like the wobble I get now...

The only time I've had and seen rotors warp repeatedly is when the rear brakes aren't working right, unless you got a cheap set of rotors.

Sticking calipers could do it, but there'd always be a lot of drag from the fronts not releasing. With some vehicles, overtorquing the lug nuts also warp brake components, but I'm not sure if toyotas are like that.
