my car is 45 min away from my house

im gonna look for the short but if that doesnt work if i can get my car started doing a temp fix, is this a good idea

I was reading up on an efi fuse blowing and people said sometimes using a stronger fuse will at least get it started

also removing the efi relay

is there anyway to bypass the fuse to make it run

also does anyone have the link for the wiriing diagram to the efi fuse

DO NOT BYPASS THE FUSE! Unless you want to burn your truck up.

Blowing the EFI fuse is common when the O2 sensor wire has burned on the exhaust or is shorting out some other way. Check that first. Them check the FSM:

Yea, what TNRabbit said. NEVER bypass a blown fuse. It only blows when there is too much current in the circuit due to an overload. The designated size fuse is designed to let all the necessary current pass but blow before the wiring is damaged or starts a fire.

Fuses don't just blow for no reason. You had to have excessive current in the circuit when it blew and the problem has to be found and fixed. I'd tow it rather than bypass the fuse. Good luck,

before i say this i want it to be heard i would never do this. someone told me once jumper the fuse with a wire and look for smoke that's where the short is.

I would search hi and low for the problem before I tried anything crazy like bypassing the fuse.

Yeah, I had the same problem. Check the O2 sensor, if it's touching the exaust pull it off and keep it tied back and off of it. That completely solve the problem for me. The easiest fix ever... Just move a wire =)
