T100 no 4wd even after manual hub swap

I just swapped in my manual hubs on my 93 T100. The 4wd still is not working the front shaft spins but it does not spin the front tires. I locked in the actuator as well. Thanks in advance

Red face

If you have installed your Hubs correct

Have your ADD held in place

CV axles are spinning with the front shaft?? Yes or NO ??

Your sure the front shaft is spinning under power

It can only be something broken in the Front differential

Has this ever worked??

I just got the truck and it did not work. Figured doing the manual hub swap would have did the trick. The actuator is locked in place front shaft does spin under power but the front wheels do not move with it or the cv.

When i have the truck on my lift with the hubs locked 4wd on I spin the front wheel and the other side moves a little but will not spin. The hubs are locking correctly as I move the cv by hand and the tire moves with it.

If the CV's are not turning while the front drive shaft is, it's a pretty safe bet your ADD actuator is not actually locked in. If it presumably has been defeated and permanently locked, you'll have to open up the ADD cover and figure out what went wrong. Is the green 4wd light on when you shift to 4wd?

If it's not the ADD, then you likely have a deeper (more expensive) problem inside the diff.

I had it on the lift took the actuator off made sure the ring was covering the gear left it off and moved the shaft still nothing. Does it have to be set just perfect or as long as it is over the gear? Whwn i spin either tire the oposite will not spin. What would cause this guess this weekend ill take the diff out. I figured if something was broke in there id hear noses but it drives great.

Make sure you hold it in place with something.
