Ha Ha You Capitalized Every Word In Your First Post

Well, blame your boyfriend for not checking the bolts, silly.

It's a forum filter. They tried to post with CAPS LOCK ON and the software changed it to the way it is now.

amgraham 03-15-2007 05:45 AM

Ok, I'll bite.. How in the world did you not notice every bolt falling out of your top? I have one broken bolt and even with the rest tight I can hear the top move a little in the turns. I'd hate to see what one of those could do flying off on the highway...

Are you trying to say that you have subs or something, and that you think they wiggled all the bolts lose?

Holy Crap!!!!!!

Is English your first or second language?

Do periods and other punctuation marks scare you?

I can make almost no sense of this post and that makes me feel sad. :prop:

04 Rocko Taco 03-15-2007 02:36 PM

See, With All Caps On It Does Capatilize Every Word.

But if you type in lower case first I THINK you can get things in ALL caps.

:hillbill: See.

That is the most awesomest thing I've heard today!

Take a movie of this. That's something I'd like to see!

That is, unless, you were fibbing.

I think they should :ban: stereos like that.

They make me want to :saw: the owner because you can't here the :guitar: over the rattling noise....if my children ever ask for sub-woofers like those installed I'm going to :barf: Then go get :drink: & then :spank: them.

91TPU 03-15-2007 03:38 PM

to read your post took far too much effort...i doubt your sub(s) are the cause of this...and i highly doubt the body panels of your truck are moving a two full inches, that would be from HERE[.................................]TO HERE, and thats just not gonna happen

IF I only had a 13" monitor that space would only be about .75"! :hillbill:

linuxrunner 03-15-2007 04:08 PM

On a different note (pun intended) did you ever see the myth busters episode with the giant engine powered woofer they tried to tear a car apart with? lol, it was an interesting segment. Those high power systems can damage a vehicle. Shear bolts? No. Rattle bolts loose that weren't torqued down correctly? Certainly.

Sorry for my earlier obvious bias but, I literally despise the very existence of those people who subject me to their (lack of) taste in music. I see no reason why I should have to hear their stereo while I'm inside my house watching T.V.:nono:

DeathCougar 03-17-2007 09:05 AM

punc?tu?a?tion /ˌpʌŋktʃuˈeɪʃən/ [puhngk-choo-ey-shuhn]

?noun 1. the practice or system of using certain conventional marks or characters in writing or printing in order to separate elements and make the meaning clear, as in ending a sentence or separating clauses.
2. the act of punctuating.
3. punctuation marks.

run-on sentence
?noun 1. A written sequence of two or more main clauses that are not separated by a period or semicolon or joined by a conjunction.

Also called fused sentence.

How did your stereo cause all your bolts to rattle loose? And I am confused about your back window....did it hold the top on while it as trying to fly off? And did it "break" (not brake)?

just a 22re 03-18-2007 12:18 PM

No the rear window didnt brake for some reason i dont know why. Yes the window held the top on but it was only like 2 sec. The sub i belive caused the top to come off just cause there's nothing else back there (that i know of) that would or could make the bolts come out. There hows that for gertting my typing right??

Lol, I had to. Yes I am a grammar Nazi; so sue me!

DeathCougar 03-18-2007 01:14 PM

btw, i have a 2 subs as well as 2 amped 330 watt 6x9's in my quarter panels, and the bolts have never loosened up in 3 years. Be sure to double check your bolts when you put the top on, and torque them in the correct sequence. It its a really hot day, be sure to check the bolts when its cold again, say in the morning since heat causes things to expand.

I doubt your stereo caused the bolts to rattle out, even if you had it at max volume. In which case....you're now deaf lol.

very true, even at that sense, 3/4 of an inch is still excessive for it to move. and i would assume that most people viewing YT are on monitors larger then 15 inches, as my comp sucks and i still have a 17 inch monitor.

just a 22re 03-18-2007 02:01 PM

lol ok ok so i cant spell or type bite me!! lol but yeah i will be checking them bolts untill it gets hot out here so i can take the top off again
