Steering Wheel Replacement?

Wanting to replace my steering wheel with the helm of a pirate ship. Where do I start?

OK, just kidding... sorta. I DO want to replace my stock steering wheel with a new one. OEM wheel gets soft in the rainy, cold winters and gums up a bit, plus it just doesn't look fabulous. Where do I start? How do I acquire a new one? Will virtually any steering wheel fit? I'm clueless. Help please!

:coffee:

Just what are you looking for (an OEM replacement, aftermarket replacement, race car style)?

Are you wanting to replace the steering wheel on your 1994 Truck in your signature?

:safari:

Not OEM. Some nice-looking aftermarket wheel. Haven't decided on the style because I don't know what styles are available.

Made by Lines Racing. Never heard of the brand before purchasing, but for all of like $80 new, I'm 100% satisfied with it. And that price includes shipping and buying a hub to mount it with. Feels great to drive, very durable and robust so I have no worries about it bending like my friend's old NRG wheel did in his 240sx. Most importantly, I love the look. The stock wheel looked like a folded up diaper coated in grey rubber.

Wrap the oem nicely. Leather. Or have it done?

I had Grant Wheels, but in the end I always came back to the oem :)

I don't recognize the lyrical reference, but I recognize the interior of your vehicle. Looks identical to mine. Your steering wheel looks good, except I'd prefer black or grey not wood grain. And you didn't really answer a single question I asked. Either way, I like seeing the results of your steer wheel mod. How do you honk the horn?

Yes. That's a very good description of the stock steering wheel. Haha! Aint nothing pretty about it.

Aggressively and often

But on a serious note, just jump on amazon and search Grant steering wheels. There are hundreds of styles/sizes that fit on a hub you purchase from them. They also have a removable option (theft deterrent)
