Sr5 Gauge Cluster Swap Question

I have a 89 Toyota pickup that I put a sr5 gauge cluster in. Everything is working but the tachometer at idle is right about zero. I feel Im not getting an accurate reading on the tach. Any pointers or help?

ive read that if the tach was not working at all that Id have to run a cable.

Any help would be appreciated
