if you do any on road driving I would not do a spool.
A typical lunchbox locker costs close to a spool and will save your tires.

Do it! I am running one in my daily driver and I love it. It is cheap, strong, and predictable.

for a non trailed rig, a spool or welded (lincoln locker:hillbill: ) diff is not recommended. they have VERY BAD street manners!:saw:

I bought it from a member on yt, BeaterToyota. The only time it is noticeable is in slow speed situations like turning into a parking spot. On the highway it is not noticeable at all. Sure it will bark the tires a bit and wear the tires faster, but frankly I don't really care. It is not even that bad anyways. The month that I have driven with it, I have not noticed any wear at all. It is a small price to pay for an almost indestructible, cheap, effective, and predictable locker.
