Side steps

I have a 92 extended cab v6 and I want to put some side steps on it. I really like the n fab bars had them on a dodge once. But I can't find them for my year of toy does anyone know if they make them? Or if there is another company that makes similar bars?

Those things aren't worth the metal they're made from. I doubt you'll find any Toyota original ones, if there's even any left. Look up "rock sliders" and get a set with a step extension. Trail gear, marlin, addicted off-road, 4xinnovations all make good sliders.

Cool I'll look into them. My buddy had a set of these on his jeep and it was kinda a pain to climb over them. Seemed liked they stuck out to far. Can you get them to be pretty flush with the truck?

Well.. If you want them flush, then the purpose of the "side step" is completely out the door. They're not unnecessarily obtrusive, I think. Definitely low key. Just google some Toyota truck with sliders images and you may get a good enough idea as to what you want.

Right and I get that they need to stick out a little but I've seen some that stock out 8 inches or better. I'll do some research thanks for the info

Good deal. I'm sure you'll find something you're looking for! Oh, and the thing about tube metal rock sliders is they protect against rocker damage while tube steps are for looks. Don't want something like this to happen...

Yeah rocky road outfitters has some awesome ones I think I'll get. Thanks for your help! Yeah I don't want that looks like a bad day!

I bought a brand new set as the wife wanted them on her extended cab. That was a couple of years ago and other then looks, really not that strong. Don't remember where I got them.
