Cool millball, where did you find it? I have one I bought used a few years ago. I have no evidence that it does anything, but I can certainly see that maybe it helps hold frame horns in place, especially beating up the ifs with bigger tires and bj spacers.

In my experience, that ifs brace did nothing. To be honest, putting 35s on IFS isn't as bad as everyone in the past has mentioned. Generally speaking, the idler arm might wear out faster but even then if you replace it, put brass bushings in it and add a brace. you'll be solid.

I think their claim was that the truss protected against frame horn and rear A-frame lug spreading caused by repetitive hard suspension bottoming.

Many different outfits offered similar trusses, some bolt-on others weld-on.

At any rate, can't hurt to bolt it up.

It was - as I recall - a PITA to install (circa 1990)

Tho back then I had dull bits and a tiny home "black and decker" drill...

Probably less of an issue today as I would use new bits, and decent cutting oil....

I still have a few leafs left from my Downey pack in my rufs. Haha.
