Most of my tank is gone and if I fill it, I may take 13 to 15 gallons. 157 is on the trip meter. It is mostly city, 90 + %, and I'm kinda heavy on the skinny pedal cuz it's so slow and all. I believe cruising speed of 70 miles per hour will give me 2200 RPM's with these tires.

Yes, 11 to 13 around town. Need to take a trip out of town to get a feel for highway MPG.

I am about to pull the trigger on a 5 speed swap, so I am gonna document all my miles and gallons till it's in to compare.

Here's an update on my auto 3.0L V6. Filled it today, 13.561 gallons. 166.3 miles on the odometer. Thats 12.26 MPG with 30 - 9.5 - 15 mud terrain type tires. 70 MPH is 2550 on the tach. I am taking it easier on the throttle with this tank to see how much more I can get. I will continue this approach till I get the 5 speed in.

Lifted on bigger tires? I truley find your mileage per tank not to be true.
Dude...
I have a 3.0, 90 4runner,auto w/od...on stock tires,no engine or rig mods,at all and I only get a little over 200 miles per tank...on the highway!!!
I seriously doubt, that a 3.0 with bigger and wider tires gets better gas milage than a stock rig...or everyone would be slamming bigger tires on their rigs.
Believe it or not I had a stock 91 ext cab 4x4 3" body lift all stock gears to my knowledge an just a small body lift an a set of 32" Bfg a/t's an that truck got such god gas mileage at least twice an a half the gas Milage as my 95 sr5 auto 3.slow gets an way more power im converting to 5speed soon just in the hopes of getting anywhere near the gas Milage of my old truck an btw I got a 95
Early 1995 sr5 4runner I'm parting out on for what you need have anything you need it has a good auto trans an also motor parts from the seized engkne
