rpms and gas mileage

I'll help with the confusion. My 88 4Runner has 3.0L, auto, 4.10 gears, 17.2 gallon tank according to the manual. Mods are 30 x 9.5 x 15 (28's are stock???) and a 1" body lift. Most of my tank is gone and if I fill it, I may take 13 to 15 gallons. 157 is on the trip meter. It is mostly city, 90 + %, and I'm kinda heavy on the skinny pedal cuz it's so slow and all. I believe cruising speed of 70 miles per hour will give me 2200 RPM's with these tires.
Yes, 11 to 13 around town. Need to take a trip out of town to get a feel for highway MPG.
I am about to pull the trigger on a 5 speed swap, so I am gonna document all my miles and gallons till it's in to compare.

Here's an update on my auto 3.0L V6. Filled it today, 13.561 gallons. 166.3 miles on the odometer. Thats 12.26 MPG with 30 - 9.5 - 15 mud terrain type tires. 70 MPH is 2550 on the tach. I am taking it easier on the throttle with this tank to see how much more I can get. I will continue this approach till I get the 5 speed in.

200 miles to a tank...in the city?
300 on the highway?
Lifted on bigger tires? I truley find your mileage per tank not to be true.
Dude...
I have a 3.0, 90 4runner,auto w/od...on stock tires,no engine or rig mods,at all and I only get a little over 200 miles per tank...on the highway!!!
I seriously doubt, that a 3.0 with bigger and wider tires gets better gas milage than a stock rig...or everyone would be slamming bigger tires on their rigs.
