Reverse switch?
 

Does anyone know if the reverse switch is in the shifter area or is it on the transmission. I'm trying to hook up a reverse camera in my NAV/DVD unit and I would hate to run the wire al the way to the back of the truck if I don't have to. I don't think the wire stays the same color all the way from the back so it's been kinda hard to find. Also, if the switch is by the shifter, is that the actual switch or does that control a unit somewhere?

Should be on the transmission main body, behind the bell housing. May be either on left or right side depending on transmission.
