All plugs are at 13'ish foot pounds. I do see a power increase in driving, I just had to adjust for idle. I wonder if putting in a much different gapped plug (from .040 to .034) had anything to do with having to adjust the idle. In that case, it would make sense.

I did drop a couple plugs but it was on soft ground. I inspected them and the porcelin wasn't broken. Also, the plug wires are new... Too bad I don't have a rpm gauge, I could see what I'm idling at. I had multiple guys listen, they all say it sounds like a normal idle. Sounds "ok" to me, sounds ok to my mechanic friend...

EDIT: Dupermandave, nah, they are gone.

After installing the plugs the truck ran like trash... if it's not struggling to keep an idle it's completely dying. When accelerating, however, it's almost not noticeable. It also died when I left off the gas to make a turn into my neighborhood... I have also noticed a slight smell of burnt / unburnt gas. What's the first thought that comes into your guys' mind of the potential problem here? Thanks for the help, all.
I bought G Power NGKs, about 1K ago stock gap..for my 3.0 and Ive had no problems..did u make sure that the ignition wires are all good and in the right spots, When I bought my plugs I replaced the wires with NGKs at the same time..When was the last time you checked your distributor cap and rotor?

Are you truly sure that it is the plugs? You say it struggles to idle but under acceleration it is fine? A plug that is miss gapped slightly should not effect idle to the point of stalling. Do this: while the truck is idling remove the oil cap from the valve cover. Is this how it idles sometimes? If so, it is a vacuum problem.
