Removing radio?
Have a 95 4Runner with a Pioneeer premier DEH-P920R radio.

If I am not mistaken I believe ther is a write-up in the tech section to do this..
Not just the stock but also aftermarkets... |
yes there is a few there for 3rd gens wich is pretty close its very easy to do takes me all of 5mins to remove my radio

You have to open the glove box and remove the screws located on the upper part of open box, then behind it there is a 10mm that has to be removed. You will have to pull the part (below the radio) off (2 press clips) and also remve the 10mm on the drivers side as well. Basically the whole front of the dash has to come out, the stereo is a iso mount and not the typical chasis so a full removal is required.
I've been installing over 17 years from custom/fiberglass/multi tvs/spl rigs etc... As well as owned Black Forest car audio back in vegas a few years ago. |
