Rebuilit engine, what should I know before install
I just got my 3.0 rebuilt and I'm wondering if I missed anything that I should take care of before it goes back in. Here's what I've got:
heads were heat straightened
crank turned and bearings installed
new connecting rods
new timing belt
knock sensor looked damn near new, and wire was still pliable
radiator cleaned and repaired
new clutch, pilot bearing and throwout
turned flywheel
new ring gear
rebuilt starter and alternator
new belts
rebuilt injectors
all new vacuum lines
new power steering lines
resealed steering box nose cone
new speedo cable
And then I pulled the diff to check things out since the left axle seal was leaking anyways so.....
had third member rebuilt (had a broken tooth)
installed new axle seals and axle bearings
installed new shoes and wheel cylinders
While I was taking the third out I noticed some kind of bar attached to the axle on a pivot that then connected to the frame to some sort of switch, what the heck is that?
Thanks for any input, except for you 3.0 haters, lol

That part on the axle housing is the A.D.D.(Automatic Differential Disconnect) actuator and indicator switch.
