Rear window latch?
 

Apparently I am stronger than I thought I was, and I cracked my rear window latch in my 93 xtra cab 4x4 only a few days after I bought it. Anyone know where I can find a cheap replacement latch? I found one on Amazon that looks like it will work, but it's like $32. Seems ridiculous for a tiny piece of plastic. Hoping someone knows of a cheaper option out there...

And yes I searched the forums but most of the threads are like 10 years old.

Yes, it’s one of those Toyota parts covered in gold....I believe I paid 40 ish for a Toyota part, I would gladly do it again if it lasts 25+ years. I have not seen a cheap replacement, maybe eBay?

Or even Amazon. All these prices are "close" to $32, but at least you can get it! And I'm 95% sure it's aluminum, not plastic.

(Note that this part number is for only the operable part of the latch. The catch, retainer, and packing are additional parts with their own part numbers. Only you know how much you need.)
