Rear Driveshaft Install

Rear Driveshaft Install
Howdy,
Planning a rear driveshaft install on my 88 4Runner with an auto trans. Trans, gearbox, and 4x4 were all rebuilt by a specialty shop. Is dropping a new driveshaft in (has new u joints on each end) as simple as bolting in and torquing to spec? Do i need to grease the ends at all? Have truck in neutral? Etc. I found the writeup for 2nd gen runners but was not sure if that applied to first gens as well. Looking at my two second gens everything appears the same on its face.
Thanks!

I'm new to the 4R but not to mechanicals, you'd probably want it in neutral for the sole purpose of aligning the u-joints on both ends (if wheels are on the ground). A new drive shaft I would hope has pre-greased u-joints. Be careful not to let the caps fall off the u-joints during install, if you need torque specs I can get them from my 86 FSM, good luck
