Randomly won't start this morning (VIDEO)
Getting power from battery to all other toys on truck. Have a separate switch for stereo, which works. pulled ignition switch and tried it manually (always fun to remind myself how easy it is to start one of our trucks with nothing but a phillips head screwdriver) ...nothing. Bad ignition switch maybe? If so, how much of a pain is it to replace one of these? Also, have never needed the clutch in to start.

One thing I've seen a problem with is the wire to the starter popping off.
Also are you hearing the starter relay kick in?
Does your battery have enough juice to turn the starter?

Problem with lead to the batt yet ironically stereo and anything else had wired to batt worked perfectly. Tightened down positive lead and she started right away. Good thing it was something stupid. Might consider better batt cables.

Can you hear a click outside the truck when you try it? i had an 88 Toyota with a bad starter that would randomly not start for 4-5 hours at the most odd times.
