questions about my 86 toyota?

I have a stock toyota I am slowly building to play with. It has the a stock 22r in it, and i have went i 35in tires. i am planning on putting new gears in the front and rear. I am not going to be rock climbing just hunting and playing in the mud with the truck so what gears to i need to go with???? 4.88 or 5.29?? does anyone on here have a used set they wana sell??

Go as low as you can (numericaly high). 5.29's would be good.

I'd prolly do the 4.88's. Mud tends to like wheel speed for floatation purposes (or at least tall-skinny tires) as opposed to rocks liking torque to climb over things. On the other hand, you've got 35's and a higher ratio (numerically speaking) letting you spin the tires faster may be a good thing- just got to be in the right gear.

It is a 22R though. You are not going to spin 35 very fast no matter what you do .
