Thats odd. When I lifted my front end with 4-inch bracket lift kit, I had no issues in connecting the stock driveshaft. It obviously is far more extended then it was originally.
Did your driveshaft extend? It has some room built-into the stock driveshaft to extend a few inches and mine was enough to connect. Im just wondering if the driveshaft on your truck is frozen due to rust, age, etc.
But, yaah, there should be no issues in using the stock driveshaft .. even the lift kit instructions do not mention that you need to resize your driveshaft.

^^^ LOL .. i just re-read your thread and noticed that its not the length thats the issue, but the angle! So, it seems that you cant dip it low enough to connect?

Since must be down or something here is what Wabbit was talking about:

Or go to a driveshaft shop.

Check the way you have the drop bracket on the axle tube on the driverside on....I know that one way angles its down the other angles it up....it will bolt up just fine either way...it almost tricked me....I put my lift in a few days ago.

That angle doesn't quite look right.
Here's mine (let me know if you can't see the pic).
Mine also has a 4.7 transfer case in it, so the flange is actually back another 1/2" or so.

Dang dude, that's weird. I looked back at my pics to look at the angle, but all I have is the driveshaft.
Maybe the front 3rd member mounting bolts aren't tightened up all the way?
Good Luck
