Put 33x12.50's on my trick yesterday!! Pics

My truck has been through some major changes in the last couple of months.
I had body work and paint done. I added a 3 inch shackle in the rear to get 1.5 inches of lift out back. I did not install the BJ spacers I got and I dont think I am going to. I added a 3 inch BL lift a couple of weeks ago. I just got new tires yesterday. 33x12.50's I like the look of this little truck now more than ever. Let me know what you think. |
NICE :bigok: that truck has nice lines with the camper and wheel set up
|
Thanks Shiftless..I saw your pictures the other day. Very nice and clean.
Your pictures helped me decide to get the tires yesterday. I had planned on patching the existing 31x10.50's and running them for a while. (had a nail in one) Then I saw your pics and decided to go ahead and get the tires. |
Looks good, I love the reg cabs with a lift, and you think at 6'4'' I would hate them :bigok:
|
6'4" is where I am at too...
It is just about the perfect hieght for me... no squatting to get in and out..not climbing either.. Just lift my leg and slide right in... I had a concrete contractor come out the other day for an estimate and he was pretty short..he had to hop a little to get into the truck with the 31's on it... I am very pleased with the truck..the look..the stance..the height.. I am going to start saving for re-gearing now... |
Yeah, getting in and out is no biggie.....head room is a little short, and my legs are a little cramped, but I still like it.
Gears are great...Very good investment. If you plan to ever do a locker do it with gears, save $$$$ |
doubt I do a locker. While the road home is a challenge sometimes...in the winter or alot rain...dont think I can justify having a locker. Cause I would want an ARB or an E-locker of course...
