^thanks,It took me a while to polish and remove all the years of grim and old paint from the wheel that was sitting in my friends old mini truck.

Those jdm datsun wheels are sic. What are they off of?

Noree 06-23-2012 10:03 PM

My friend had a 1977 Datsun 720 mini truck if im not mistaken. But it's not the factory wheel that it comes with.He bought it off someone a while back for his truck and I traded him some z32 calipers for it.

That's a huge improvement, hows the ride?

I got the 99' 4runner rear coils. They sit 16" and handle great. Gave me 3" of lift. I now have the FJ80 coils, which sits 19" and gave me a 4 inch 1/2 to 5 inch lift. It rides excellent and a great alternative for a lift for mild trail runs.

Truck doesn't run. Not sure. :P I'll let ya know as soon as I get it going though!

Your gonna enjoy the new ride. It handles great and handles loads very good. You'll def appreciate it from my own personal experience. Here's my truck when I had the 99' 4runner rear coils on:

Cool, are their any markings or brand names stamped on the backside of the spokes?

OMG Brad... so shiny.. so clean.. The side view kinda bugs me.. dunno if it's the amount of lift or the positioning of the nerf bar.. but holy crap dude that is one BEAUTIFUL RIG.. jealous...

Sweet looking truck. The 4Runner top is a clean looking mod. And it's been said a few times already but those wheels are cool.

"G" 06-24-2012 07:27 PM

I put some new wheels and tires on the Yota today! A crawlers nothing unless the chromes gone and some black steelies on with bigger tires. Next some rock sliders, front bumper, and Corbeau seats.

My 1986 4Runner, Ruby Tuesday's Maiden Mission Accomplished

Mission: Take us from San Diego to Mount Shasta's Bunny Flats Trailhead and back.

She could not run very fast uphill on Tejon Pass. On steep sections max was 50-55 MPH in 4th gear. Do you guys think that's typical?

In a cold morning in Sacramento, it took a couple of retries to get her started. Cranked and fired (I can hear ignition) but died when ignition key was released. Seemed that it had something to do with the MAF sensor or maybe simply needed to build up fuel pressure. It never happened again since that cold morning.

Successful team celebrates.

Old-School Rules!
Ruby Tuesday waits as my cousin talks to roadside assistance for his rental Prius.:help:
https://www.yotatech.com/members/rad...-not-start.jpg

Apparently, the Prius, like many modern/high-tech vehicles whose designers are always trying to prove something, has a retarded feature that shuts down the system when it is left at an incline with the parking brakes OFF. The rental did not have an owner's manual and a passer-by with a Prius said that even if you had a manual you would not understand it. Tow truck driver had to go through a reset routine to get it running again!

Another retarded feature: While in reverse, beeper alerts driver that he is backing up, while outside nothing alerts people that the quiet car is backing up! DUH!
