Poor spark from coil. Diagnosing?
So, my 1990 4runner, v6, died on me the other morning. It started normally, then died, and wouldn't start.
I had a shop check it and they said that distributor was bad after reading the resistance. I swapped out the distributor, and there was no change.
Going through and rechecking the spark myself this time, the spark from the coil to the distributor looks orange.
We also checked the fuel pressure and it's fine.
Any suggestions on how to best diagnose the coil and/or igniter.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
