Do yourself a Big favor get everything from one vehicle .
Better Yet have the complete vehicle
If at all possible get a recent rear end where the AC worked and can be tested and run before the wallet comes out .
My luck on used parts is the worst I would be using all new parts
Maybe look at the after market kits might be cheaper in the long run

Not sure if Toyota still offers it. I bought a complete factory kit for my 1993 back in late 1994 for around $600-$700 if I remember correctly. Came with all the parts, plus directions.

i kind of doubt it. it’s so long ago, if they still offer it probly cost more than what i got the truck for, ill just keep on digging, atlest it’ll be fall and winter soon

FYI I went through multiple compressors from the yard that the clutch was shot, clutch kits are not available nor is the kit from Toyota, best bet is to source everything but the compressor and look for a reman Denso compressor

did you install the whole a/c system to your truck yourself or had some one do it?

A good friend that was a yota mechanic at a dealer opened up his own shop and he did most of the install as he used to install the full kit at the dealer.
I went to the yard as it’s local and got all the parts for him and he did the rest with the exception of popping the little square out on the ac controls and putting in the switch, I had already done that cause I was excited
Total was 600 bucks BUT after going through 3 compressors if I remember right I finally decided to get a reman which was 200 at the time. So all in all after having to recharge the system and swap the compressors a bunch it ended up being 900 bucks..but it was worth every penny

I have a 94 2wd runner with AC parting out. Don’t have a lot of time to pull stuff, 56 and in nursing school. Might could get someone to pull for beer money. It’s 3.0. Ac did not work but I never charged it. Head gasket blew within 3 months when I was flushing rad and tranny. Text me if interested seven o 6 seven 401086. I start clinical 8/20 balls to wall.
