Parking light / Signal light mod?
did a quick search, couldnt find a DIY on how to make the parking lights into signal lights on my 94 pickup.
Anyone got a quick link to a DIY?
As soon as I noticed the parking lights werent signal lights, I got curious.

i keep my searches to 3 or 4. I tried "parking light mod", signal light mod" and "parking signal light mod"
I really dont need a DIy, I just need a quick tips and tricks. Im assuming its just wiring the signal spliced into the parking light?
Or is it a seperate bulb and wiring installed?

Granted, I already knew 4Crawler had a write up on it but even putting "turn signal parking light mod" in the search box here on yotatech came up with 18 results just on yotatech.
But if you're looking for something even more simple, that doesn't require drilling in the light housing, changing or adding bulb bases... wiring a trailer light converter is another option. Just hook the running light wire from the chassis to the stop or brake light wire from the converter and the turn signal wires from the chassis to their appropriate wires on the converter, and connect to the bulbs. Then you'll have a light that comes on when the running lights are on, and comes on with the turn signal (or goes off when the running lights are on) and works with the hazard lights too.

Cut a hole in the side marker so you can fit the socket of the bigger turn signal light in there. Seal it all up nice and good and your done.
You dont even have to rewire anything..

Just did mine a few days ago following the instructions on https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f127...oyotas-166033/
It was very straight forward. I didn't need to drill any holes or use any gaskets; I just attached a relay and cut some wires. It works great. FYI, you could purchase BWD R3189 relays from Advance Auto for the job.
