Park/Neutral Position Switch Location during startup for automatic 3.0 a340h 1993

I recently installed a rebuilt trans but in a hurry I failed to remember where the neutral switch is positioned during ignition.

I believe it should be positioned all the way to the back, this should tell the engine that the car is in park/neutral. Is this correct?

Thanks guys

i believe so. if i remember right it will only really line up one way, save for a little adjustment in the connecting linkage? either way it will only start is park or nuetral so if its all the way in one positions and doesnt start, throw it in the other direction and give it a go. had a lot of problems with mine when i had an 88 with that tranny, ended up having to use the relay trick to get it to work.
