Oil in TB(not from k&n) = bad PCV???
I found oil in the TB (3.0) coming from the small hose to valve cover; its clean before the small hose so I know its not from over oiling the K&N.
It makes sense a little oil, but I found some small puddles built up near the air flap. On a search, it says maybe some pcv relations...and mentions a filter you can put on the hose. Even though i was going to change the PCV anyways on this heater hose tear in(and seal my slightly leaking valve cover), i just want to know if there may be any other reasons why I would be sucking so much oil in through that hose.
I just rebuilt everything on a long block and dip-cleaned the whole TB, plenum, intake. I havnt had a chance to drive it more than 600miles(then started sas), and I threw a EGR code right before I put er up on blocks. I think that just the egr valve is bad & unrelated...but. I also had a little overheat from a water bypass hose leak, which is why I was tearing into my plenum for the 4rth time this year...knock sensor woes...
so if anybody has any other thoughts on how or why...

"too much blowby"
new rings/reseated valves/rebuilt heads...I hope not.
but I did buy this one from ENGINETIME. dont EVER do this...
but then again I did break in the rings by creating back pressure on them, but that was in the first 100 miles...they should be seated well by now. maybe i could check compression for fun...
