Oil Presure Change

OK all 1st off, we are talking about a 3.0 engine here. just wanted to post this up. I did an oil change this weekend, and all went well. I put in a Napa Gold OIL FILTER, and used GTX High Milage 10W30 oil. In doing the change, I also added 1 Qt of LUCAS Oil Treatment. After driving the rig for a day or so, I noticed that my oil presure had gone up about 50% from where it always is. I feel that the LUCAS has done this. The oil presure in my rig 3.0 engine was always about 1/8th" up on the gage after the rig warmen up and driving. Now after warm up. it sits at about 1/4" up. I feel this is good, what do you all think. Never used a Napa Gold filter, so maby this is the fix, don't no. Feed back would be great. Thanks

If you look in the manual it will tell you where the normal range for your oil pressure should be. Of course the Thick Lucas stuff will read higher, but it might also put more strain on your oil pump. I've got a 3.0 and if I want a little more pressure I just use 10w40 Castrol GTX
