I know this is bad, whatever the cause may be. Just wondering what could be the cause. Please and thank you. 3vze 93

Possible bad half moons for oil and bad/leaky injectors. How much oil/gas is in the spark plug well? Pics please.

Just sitting on the outer portion of the head?
Sounds like a valve cover leak to me. Do the plugs look good when you pull them out?

Yes, mostly on the head, maybe a tiny amount on the threads. It smells like gas, but it's oily too. Some people have said it could be a head gasket. Is that possible? I think valve cover gaskets would be easier to do myself.

I wouldn't expect it to be a head gasket. I think it would be running pretty bad with that much of a leak. I'm not professional mechanic either so take it for what you will.

I can't see any leaking immediately around the valve covers. Would it still be able to leak internally into the spark plug wells?
