OEM shock selection
I'm ready to order some new shocks for my 94 pickup. While browsing the Titus-Will parts website I noticed that there were options for the front and rear shocks. I'm curious what's the difference?
Front Pick-Up, 4-Runner, 6 Cylinder, w/Gas Shock - 4wd, torsion bar $36.04 Pick-Up, 4-Runner, 6 Cylinder, w/o Gas Shock - 4wd, torsion bar $36.04 Shock, Standard, From 10/88- Fits Left/Right ABSORBER- SHOCK- FR - 4wd $35.31 Rear: Pick-Up, w/o Gas Shock - Leaf spring $35.31 Pick-Up, w/Gas Shock - Leaf spring $52.76 Shock, Gas- Fits Left/Right ABSORBER- SHOCK- RR - 4wd $46.84 Shock, Standard- Fits Left/Right ABSORBER- SHOCK- RR - 4wd $35.31 |
The front shocks have a stud and an eyelet, the rear shocks have 2 eyelets for mounting.
The rear shocks are also longer to accommodate for more suspension travel. :dj: |
I understand that, but if you go to the Titus-Will website it shows various options, some the same price, some different as I listed above, all for my 94 pickup.

It would probably be easiest for you to find the exact part numbers by using your VIN through a different site (www.toyomotorparts.com works well) that way you can be sure you're ordering the right part. Then placing the order with Titus-Will.
