OEM number for thernostat on 1989 V6 hilux
 

Hi looking for OEM number for thermostat on a 1989 Toyota Hilux with 3.0 V6 petrol engine. As I'm in UK with a USA import nobody lists a thermostat earlier than 1991. Onrs ive seen on internet pictures for 91 onwards loik different to mine.So I can a run internet search. Can a thermostat from a 22r/re be used from same era. Mine has failed open which is good news on 3vze engine. Thanking you all in advance for any help or advice.
