odd loping 22re (not at idle) video inside

Well having the new locker in I decided to go out today to try it out. Long story short I swamped the truck up to about seat level and drowned the computer. After getting pulled out and drying the computer out, it would start and run but as soon as you gave it some gas it would lope horrible and have no power. So I figured wet TPS. Limp it home, keeping rpm under about 1700 to avoid the loping and start the drying out process. After thoroughly drying out the computer I popped the black plastic cover off the AFM to check for water but that was bone dry so I sealed that back up. I pulled off the TPS and removed the metal cover and there was some water in it. I dried this out with compressed air and left it sit by a heater for a while. I put everything back together and it starts up fine, idles fine, drives fine, no loss of power. Everything seems fine. I put it in 4 low and start slowly accelerating to about 1900-2000rpm in 1st gear and get a harsh stutter which turned into a lope. It's very strange... sitting in neutral if I very very slowly rev the engine, as soon as it gets to about 1900 it will drop down about 500rpm then rev back to 1900 then continue loping. If I rev normally it revs perfectly fine with no issues. The best way to see what I mean is by checking this video. http://s257.photobucket.com/albums/h...t=P1030386.flv

As you can see I had to slowly rev it to get to the loping point. If I revved it normally it didn't do it. In normal road driving it's not even noticeable. More noticeable 4 wheeling as in the lower gears I'm normally around that throttle position/rpm. ...I was thinking it was TPS related but after adjusting it to both extremes it still does it at the same throttle position/rpm. Oh and the check engine light isn't on or flashing any codes. I am also almost certain I have no vacuum leaks.

Would I be able to disconnect the TPS and rev it to see if there's a dead spot in it before I replace a $100 part?

try to adjust the TPS. What you see is fuel cut. if the TPS reads closed throttle and the engine is above about 1900rpm then it shuts off the injectors till the engine speed drops below about 1500rpm then it turns the injectors back on.............

check between terminals IDL and ground it should read low ohms with the throttle closed and should go open just as you start to move the throttle.

between IDL and a ground or IDL and E2? I'm not the sharpest one when it comes to using an ohmmeter but I get no difference between closed and open throttle when testing IDL and a ground, does that means it's time for a new TPS? I get a low ohm reading when testing IDL/E2 and it jumps up when opening the throttle.
