obscure: vf1a oil pump seat o-ring part number?

Here's an obscure one for you guys. Whoever can answer this is a true god.

FSM page TR-22, "Oil pump body disassembly" step 2(d) says to remove the o-ring from the oil pump seat. However, as far as I can tell, there's no part number for that o-ring.

The Toyota EPC has a diagram for the transfer oil pump, but it shows the pump, gear, oil separator and others as assemblies, but doesn't have an exploded diagram for the oil pump; the oil pump is only shown as a unit. The only o-ring part number on the diagram (96721‑19012) is for the o-ring between the pick-up tube and the pump inlet. I actually ordered one of those mistakenly even though one comes with the Toyota transfer gasket+o-ring rebuild kit. I can confirm that it is noticeably larger than the pump seat o-ring.

Google wasn't any help on this problem, which leads me to think one of:

- I'm a moron and doing something totally wrong, or else I'm missing something totally obvious that all the other vf1a rebuilders didn't think twice about. But the FSM is pretty clear, so what gives?

- Not many people rebuild their vf1a, and I'm in uncharted waters. Toyota, despite the high degree of consistency between their FSM and EPC, have FAILED. I'm screwed, and even worse, a from yotatech is in my imminent future when in a fit of frustrated desperation I go off on a foul-mouthed rant that pisses off 58% of members, 100% of mods, as well as their wives, kids, dogs, and grannies.

Anyone can help out?

I can try my epc.

Too bad you were not closer. I would give you the complete, working case I have on the ground in the garage.

Nobody's rebuilt their vf1a according to the FSM before? Woo hoo, I call it, FIRST!!!

dntsdad, thanks for confirming that I'm not crazy. I looked in a couple of EPCs that I have access to, and also went to the dealership where the parts guy was mystified. I could probably figure out which o-ring it needs by measuring the groove, but the transfer looks pretty clean inside, so I'll assume the oil pump is too.

BTW, did a bunch of research on how to fit o-rings in the whole range of applications. The vf1a oil pump inside o-ring most closely matches a 10mm OD x 2mm cross-section, regular nitrile o-ring. You can find these at Autozone either over the parts counter (they stock two metric sizes, this is one), or as a part of a $6 party pack on the shelves.
