Which O2 Sensor?
Hi Guys
I have a 1991 22RE SB pickup, Cali truck. I need the rear (after CC) O2 sensor and I'm looking for the right replacement. Amazon has a quite a few that "fit my vehicle" but they don's say Cali vehicle, before or after, etc? I think this is the one I need but I could use some help first! http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...=ATVPDKIKX0DER Found the part number from here: http://www.autopartsnetwork.com/cata...ase_year:1991_ thx bob |
I had a similar issue finding one for my truck. Go to toyodiy, input your vehicle, get Toyota part number. Then find Toyota to denso cross-reference, (can't remember where, think I googled til I found one)find denso part number, and shop by that. Eventually, I found the right one. Bout a half hour of searching and confusion, but it worked out.

Both sensors are the same AFAIK.

I just checked on my 91 22re truck and
http://www.autozone.com/autozone/par...mString=search pre-cat sensor and post-cat sensor are the same if you use Bosch... but different if you use Denso. That may have something to do with if the sensor comes with a pre-installed pigtail (denso) or not (bosch). |
Go to the denso web page and get there listing, then you cand search it on amazon.

You can narrow it down to the CA-spec parts.

Yeah, but there is a front and a rear and they are not the same. |
CA spec no. 1 is front, no. 2 is rear. Near as I can tell, could always run the part numbers past a dealer?
