not sure about my 95 4Runner having lift

I am new the 4X4 side of Toyota and im hooked .....I have a 1995 4Runner and its taller than just about everyone that I have seen that are stock looking...It has 275/75/16 tires on it and i know that helps but it seems quite a bit taller...but i see no sign of a suspension lift it has a little sag in the rear ...and there is a small gap maybe .5-1 inch between the rear frame and the body but it dosent seem to follow to the frt of the body am i just going crazy or is there something else i could be missing...i plan on bring it up a little and i am trying to find out where i am now so i know which way i want to go....

BTW great site learned toons already...

Lets get some pics. Its harder to tell, take a measurement from your front hub to your lowest part on the fender and someone w/ a stock truck could comply.

the t-bar's might be cranked in the front you wouldnt be able to tell without measuring.

in the rear you could have longer coils...you wouldnt really be able to tell without knowing the stock length and or amount of coils.

Purdy truck, it seems stock, but do you have trimming or rubbing issues?

Hmmm...

They usually sit a little higher in the front, and I notice you are also on a hill but the back is still level.

There is a good possibility that there has been a leveling kit installed in the back of that truck... Maybe longer sprongs or spacers.

Looks good though...

Nice looking truck! If you have 15 in. rims, try measuring from the top of the rim to the fender. It is a little easier to measure, also I have those written down from before my lift and we can compare.

You deffinitely have a lift, those tires are a bit over 32". Those size tires will normally fill the wheel well especially if the rear coils are sagging, and judging by the cv angle. Mine has no lift and is almost straight. You probably have longer coils and the T-bar cranked.

finally got the lift in Pics to follow this weekend...

I put in new shocks, bj spacers, cv shafts, brake pads and rotors, upper and lower ball joints(passanger lower was in badddd shape), sonoran steel brace, downey idler gussett and panard drop bracket...

after I got all that done i noticed my timing belt idler #2 humming loudly...I than inspected the timing belt and consideded my self lucky it did not break. The belt had more cracks than texas soil after a 3 month drought :pat:

Replaced everything with toyota parts from Toyota of Dallas...which i had a slight overheating problem on the freeway at higher speeds and replacing the water pump and thermostat resolved that.

About 2-3 weeks after that is compelted my clutch explodes shearing the all the material off the pressure plate side and over 1/3 on the flywheel side. I now have a Marlin Crawler heavy duty clutch in my car and I love it...

So after all that is said and done I finally take it in for an alignment and I am told that my inner and outer tie rods are bad and my idler is bad.

My truck is like a new girlfriend its a bottom less pit of wants and needs....

I replaced the frt end stuff and everything is good for now...I can finally take it off road again its been a street queen for 5 months...

Time to get her dirty again
