No instrument lights.
Hey guys. On my way back to RI from Maine yesterday I lost my instrument cluster lights on my 93 pickup
Sometimes the tach lamp fails to ignite, so a swift rap on the glass wiyh my knuckles persuades it to turn on. As I left a gas station to begin the home stretch, I rapped on the glass only to hear a click and all of the 194 bulbs in the cluster died. I still have all other warning lights, hi beams and turn signals. Still have head and tail lights. From what I read last night the headlights and tail lights go to the same fuse as the cluster lamps, so if it was a fuse, I should have no headlights/tail lights correct? |
Your headlights should be on a relay under the hood. You cluster has it's own fuse. If you have a dimmer knob, and if it goes bad, that'll cause the cluster lights to die. Have you checked fuses yet?
