New seats.

Hi guys I'm about to go on another long trip. I'm still recovering from back surgery so want to get some new seats.

Has anyone managed to fit some suspension seats in a 2nd Gen 4Runner or equivalent truck?

I'm thinking about these ones.

Anyone have some ideas?

Bump for opinions.

No experience with those type, nor an opinion, but they sure look nice! :D

They do look nice. I hope that they might support my back as well as look nice.

I'm not sure who, but I'm positive a few guys here have Corbeau seats swapped in. I'm not sure which years or models they drove either.. That being said, it shouldn't be too hard to fit them in, knowing someone has before, if you have the fabrication skills. Hopefully some of the guys that have these seats will speak up because I'm POSITIVE they're out there.

I'm hoping to find someone who has them. I want to make sure it's going to make me sit too high. I am 6ft so only have about 3" before I bounce my head of the roof.

they are suppose to be for hard core offroad.

throw us a review if you pull the trigger on the seats.

Will do.

I want them for hard core back pain. Should have never gone for surgery. Hurt less pre-op.

What was the surgery for? Going myself in November for some bulged discs pinching nerves:(

Red Wagon 09-01-2013 03:48 PM

Herniated disk, pinching nerves.

Went in May 6th, still hurts like a bastard.

Crap, sounds not fun.....can't wait:(

Make sure they don't ask how much pain your are in when they decide to prescribe pain killers right after they give you morphine. When it wears off later you will regret saying you don't need the good pills.

The night after my surgery was the most pain I have ever been in by a long way. I've skated on an broken ankle I didn't know was broken and dislocated my elbow. This sucked way more.

Everyone is different though and yours is a bulge so hopefully it won't be too bad.

Good luck bro.

Thanks man, hope the seats work better and your back gets better:)
