New rearview mirror/map lights roof console ideas???
 

Anyone out there have any good fixes/bolt-on swaps for a 1st gen. Runner. The map lights aren't very good and the I really like a place for my sunglasses like my wifes 07 tundra.

Hoping to poke throught the junkyard and find something with a sun glass holder, some lights, and maybe the whole builtin temp/compass gauges..... or at least a decent platform to attach some jeewiz to it.....

Anyone ???

The best thing to do is go the a pic n pull and start looking, vans and suv`s would be a good place to start.

such as the ones in 90's - early 2000's GM trucks and SUV's? that would be a cool addition with some modification. otherwise, i will be making my own eventually to accommodate the sunroof

yeah i got the sun roof too. will probably head down to the lot to see what I can pull off drill a few new holes for.

Anyone know if those compass consoles have the brain in the unit or if it get the info from a computer somewhere else in the dash????
