New paint on my 94 4x4 Truck PICS NOW!!!!

I just got my truck back from the body shop and I am very happy with the job they did. Now keep in mind this is my DD and I use this truck for all kinds of things.

I wish I had a digital camera to show you how it looks but I don't

anyway for what its worth. I took my truck to MAACO. They did a good job for the price. (IMHO) They replaced my hood and the bed with used parts. I did put a new tailgate on the bed.

Now if I could just get a little time to put the BJ spacers on and get some 33 inch tires I think I would be pretty happy with the truck.

33's should fit without the BJ spacers, as long as they're 10.50's...

I don't know. I think my 4Runner was macco'ed by the dealer I bought it from. Looks good, but had lots of overspray and the paint flakes off due to lack of prep work.

Where? Where? What is your location? A decent paint job for $500 w/body work is a good deal.

Let's see some pics of these Maaco jobs!

It cost me 1500 for the used bed, hood and prep work and paint. I already had the new tailgate. I also had the topper painted and fender flares.

I couldnt get any pictures last night because it was to dark by the time we got done working on my brother 6 wheeled maxII.

I am in West Virginia and I kept the factory color(Maroon).

I am sure there are good and bad MAACO shops like anything else.

I was very happy with the one in ST Albans.

"33's should fit without the BJ spacers, as long as they're 10.50's..."

I have 31 10.50s now that rub a little. I figure the BJ spacer will give me enough for 33-10.50's. The I would like to go with a 2inch BL and go wider to 12.50's. I really like the agressive stance with the wider tires.

Where do they rub? ('cuz they don't rub at all on my '93 4Runner)

Look into a drivetrain lift when you do your body lift - gains significant ground clearance.

The left front tire rubs just a little on the wheel well liner right at the back edge near the fire wall. I haven't hammered that seam or anything like that yet.

I dont need the ground clearance or at least that's not a big concern for me. I don't go 4 wheeling in this truck. I mean other than just trying to get up the hill to my house on a tiny muddy sometime snowy and icey road(if you use the term road loosely)
Cow path may be more acurate.

I see you are from Lorain Ohio. I worked for a data processing business that used to take care of Lorain county bank.

An alignment with a little more caster would probably fix that rub.

I will try that once I get the BJ spacer in. No sense paying for an alignment twice..

You need to check the posted rules Buck. You can't make a thread like this without pictures. I can't wait to see them, Maroon is a nice color.

Sorry turbo but for me to comply with that rule would require an outlay of cash I have not planned for just yet. I am trying to get pics while at my brothers. Unfortunately he is working evenings this week. Maybe Saturday we are going to the cabela's store so if one of us remembers the camera I will get a few pics.
