New paint....kinda
I decided it was finally time to paint my fender and valance that I had replaced after my accident.
The epoxy on the parts was fading off and I didnt want to risk getting any rust.
So I went to canadian tire and grabbed some primer, toyotaish light blue paint and clear.
Here are a few pictures:
Sanded and primed
final coat of primer
3 coats of blue
started clearcoat
finished
installed
so all in all, took me a few hours and I am very happy. The paint dosnt match since this colour is like the factory paint (pretty damn close) and my current paint is a crappy maaco job that is all faded.
In fact, since I love this colour so much, I am contimplating painting the whole truck myself with this colour!
What do you guys think?

I really want to paint my whole truck like that, in my driveway
Then in a year or so get it re-done profesionally but with more metalic
I think I will do my tailgate this colour and go from there.
Possibly paint my other fender and hood, then do the cab and bed.
The paint is not very smooth though, I should probibly wetsand after each coat of blue.
